By Booking, You Agree to Our Terms & Conditions

By making a booking, entering, or using the facility, court users agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions of Service.

1. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance through our online booking system, via email, Facebook or in person on site.
• Full payment will be charged only on the day of booking.
• Payment can be made via credit/debit card or other approved payment methods
• If a user fails to make payment for three (3) or more consecutive bookings, their account will be blocked from making any new bookings. This measure is in place to protect the integrity of the booking system and reduce payment risk.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled booking are permitted.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled booking are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling is only permitted up to 48 hours before the booking without any additional charges, subject to availability. Otherwise, court hire fee is non-refundable. 

3.  Insurance and Liability Notice

• The Public Liability Insurance held by Goodminton Badminton Centre does not provide coverage for sports-related injuries sustained while using the facilities. 
• All patrons, players, and visitors are strongly encouraged to obtain their own private medical, health, or personal accident insurance should they wish to be covered for any injuries or incidents arising during use of the Centre’s facilities.
• Participation in any sporting or recreational activity—including, but not limited to, badminton, or any other organised or casual event—shall be undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk.
• By entering the premises or engaging in any such activity, the participant acknowledges and accepts all associated risks and agrees that Goodminton Badminton Centre, its owners, management, and staff shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained.

4. Court Usage

• The badminton court is to be used solely for badminton-related activities.
• Only non-marking indoor shoes are allowed on the court.
• Players shall be held responsible for any marks or damaged caused to the courts.
• A professional cleaning fee of no less than $150 per court will be imposed for any marks requiring cleaning. 
• Repair costs for any damage to the courts will commence at $500 and will be charged to the responsible party.
• An additional fee will be charged if court is used over the booking time duration.
• No food or drink (other than water or energy drink in a sealed container) is permitted on the court area.

5. Liability and Safety

• The venue is not liable for any injury or damage incurred while using the facilities.
• Participants use the court at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings.
• All users are required to adhere to safe play practices and conduct.
• All children must be supervised by an adult. Resulting damages on venue and / or equipment will incur penalty related to the cost of damage.
• Please warm up before playing to minimise the risk of injury.

6. Facility Access and Conduct

• All users must comply with the facility’s rules and regulations.
• Respect for fellow players and staff is required at all times.
• Intoxicated individuals or those under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
• CCTV is in operation on the premise for safety and security. By entering, you consent to being recorded.
• In accordance with Australian privacy and surveillance laws, access to CCTV recordings is strictly limited. Video footage can only be reviewed or released upon formal request by authorised legal or law enforcement authorities. Requests from individuals for access to footage will not be granted unless legally mandated.

7. Additional Terms

• Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved in advance.
• The venue reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings in cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., emergencies, maintenance issues).

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• By booking, you consent to the collection and storage of your personal details for booking and operational purposes only.
• Your information will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

• These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. It is the responsibility of the customer to review these terms before making a booking.
